Devin Shacrel Smith
Devin Shacrel Smith is the son of Laverne Roberts (Ruston, LA) and Charles Satcher (Jonesboro, LA). Devin's middle name is actually 'Charles' scrambled. He is the youngest of three behind his brother Mark and sister Adicia. In 2007, Devin graduated from Grambling State University with a Bachelor's in Mass Communication. Just days after receiving his degree he moved to Atlanta to begin working at CNN. Devin has interests in all things creative including film, writing, and even recorded a hip hop album, appropriately dubbed “A Bayou Classic” with friends in college. Devin is an animal lover who loves to spend time with the family dog “Church.” He is a huge fan of the New Orleans Saints and is patiently waiting for another championship run.
Sydney Shinelle Smith
Sydney Shinelle McIntosh was born on the southside of Chicago to Sidney and Michelle McIntosh with 12 fingers and 12 toes. An only child and a military brat, she was raised in Belleville, IL, Denver, San Antonio, and Virginia (757, what up!). She graduated from Virginia Tech in 2007 with a degree in Mass Communication, and now works for CNN in Atlanta and also part-time at a yoga studio. When she isn't working two jobs, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, yoga, traveling, blogging about personal finance and attending live sporting events. She loves all things Devin, Chicago and Allen Iverson. She is a devout Chicago sports supporter. Her favorite teams are the Chicago Bulls, Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs and Virginia Tech Hokies. #Beyhive
