7 months until the BIG day!!!! So, we finally decided to send out our Save the Dates to our family and friends. Since most of our guests are from out of town, we wanted to get them out in a timely fashion. The wedding rules say you should send your Save the Dates out at least 6 months in advance. At first, I wanted to send them out around the holiday and have a Christmas themed Save the Date because I’m a lover of Christmas cards, but I didn’t want our card to be thrown with the rest of the cards. We decided to wait until the season was over.

Of course, I went straight to Pinterest for some ideas. I was looking for something that was simple, fun and looked rustic. I came across the perfect save the date on Wedding Paper Divas website. I used a 25% coupon from The Knot and ordered 150 cards.

Once I received them in the mail, my awesome bridesmaids came over and helped me put the Save the Dates together. We added glitter circles around the ’12’ to make it POP. Yea, another idea from Pinterest.
