I was in NYC for a week for work, and I decided to use my time wisely while I was in town. I scheduled an appointment at Kleinfeld’s! Yes, the one from TV. My mom didn’t want to miss this moment so she drove up from Virginia to go with me. Also, my friend Brittany who lives in Harlem came along with us.

There were thousands of dresses, and it was so overwhelming. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted so we just pulling dresses. We picked out about 10 dresses. There were two dresses that I really love. One was conservative and elegant and the other was sexy yet elegant.

When I walked out of the dressing room and stood on the platform in the sexy dress…

I SAID YES TO THE DRESS!

Now, as I sit here and write this blog, I worry if I chose a dress too fast, but I then look at the pictures of myself in the dress and I still love it.
